Rockledge Bat Removal Services
Bat removal in Rockledge has become more of an issue in the last few years, mostly due to the rapid development of the surrounding areas.
As they are forced out of their natural habitat, they are more commonly finding their way into peoples homes, as well as apartment buildings in the Rockledge area.
Bats are a protected species in Florida, and can also carry rabies, meaning that you should always contact a professional when you are having an issue with bats. This is to protect you from breaking any laws, and although they are typically docile and not aggressive, a bite from one will mean a trip to the doctor for a rabies test.
We offer professional and legal bat removal services. However, by law, we are prohibited from excluding bats from buildings between April 15th and August 15th, as this is the bats’ maternity season.
Examining a possible entry point.
First, we do a visual examination of the exterior of the building, as well as the attic, to determine where the bats are entering and roosting.
Installing a funnel on the main entry point.
We then install either bat netting, or a cone/funnel system on the entry point or points. This allows the bats to safely exit the building at night, but not re-enter.
The same day we install the netting or funnel, we seal up all other possible entry points for the bats on the building. This is to prevent the bats from simply leaving one area, and entering another area on the building.
Once all the bats are gone from the building, usually within a few days, we again inspect the building to make sure the bats are gone. We can then seal up the main entry point, and your building is bat free.

The last step is the clean up process. Even a small colony of bats can leave mounds of droppings. These droppings can be hazardous to your health, and the secretion from the glands of the bats also leaves behind a very distinct and very foul odor.
