Bat Season Ends April 15th – Have you taken care of your problem yet?
Bats are a protected species, and bat exclusion, or getting rid of the bats, CANNOT be done between April 15th and August 17th of this year!! This is their maternity season, and it gives the bats, a very important animal for bug and mosquito control, a chance to reproduce.
What does this mean to you?
Even though bats are protected during these months, they are still a nuisance animal. Their droppings can stain and ruin your home or building near the entry points, their glands leave a foul odor, and its just a bit unsettling when a colony of bats leaves your home each night at dusk like you live in a catacomb.
So if you have a problem, take care of it now!
The most expensive part of the bat removal process is usually the cleanup. Cleanups can be performed during the maternity season only if there are no bats present. This means that if you do not have them out before the April 15th, they will continue living there for the next 4 months!! During which time the droppings will continue to accumulate, the smell will worsen, and the cleanup costs will increase!
