Rats

Trap and remove with kill traps. Cant reinvente the rat trap!

 Squirrels

Exclude with humane one way door system installed on the main entry point. Device allows squirrels to exit but not re-enter

Bats

Exclude humanely by placing a valve or netting system on the main entry points. The device allows bats to exit but not re-enter.

Raccoons

Evict using predator urine and male raccoon hormones to scare female with babies, this will force her to take her babaies and vacate the attic.

Frequent Questions

u

What are those scratching and thumping noises coming from my attic or walls?

Those scratching noises coming from your attic or walls at night are most likely wild animals! Animals can include mice, rats, birds, bats, squirrels, raccoons, and opossums. Each animal has a variety of noises it can make while rummaging about in your attic. This means careful listening can help you narrow down the type of animal you’re dealing with.

u

What attic damage can result from attic animal infestations?

Once animals have invaded an attic, they can create quite an impressive mess. Animals can cause major damage to wiring, soffit, ductwork, woodwork, insulation, and more. As well, animals will leave behind urine and feces, which is a potentially major health and biohazard. And it stinks!

u

How do attic animal infestations begin? How did these animals get in my attic?

Attic animal infestations all begin with one event: an entry point into your attic and/or home is found or made, and something moves in. This also means that attic animal infestations all end with one event, too: entry and exit points are found, and repaired/sealed up so that no critters can move back in.

When inspecting your home for entry points, start by walking around the perimeter. You want to look for any areas that enter into the attic of the home. Missing or chewed soffit can be an easy entry point for not only rats, but larger animals as well.

u

How do I get rid of rats in my house and/or attic?

The first step after identifying what animal is living in your attic is figuring out how to get them out in the first place. Solutions can include poison, repellents, and traps. If you’ve ever dealt with pests before, you probably already know how difficult it can be to treat a pest infestation! Prevention is by far the easy part. WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU:

Attic Cleanup and Decontamination

Attic clean up and sanitation can be a vital component to restoring your home after an animal infestation. Because animal droppings can spread disease and create bad odors in your home, you should consider one of the following options.

Rat Removal

Roof Rats are the most common species of rats found in attic infestations in Central Florida. It is critical to nip any rat infestations in the bud! Female rats can produce up to 20 offspring per year. This high rate of reproduction is what makes them such an efficient pest.

Opossum Removal

Opossums are scavengers, which is what can make them problematic. They will go through trash, steal pet food, and more. Opossums can leave a nasty bite if cornered by a pet such as a dog! They carry various fleas and parasites, transferred to you, your home, and your pets.

Squirrel Removal

Squirrels.  Sure, they’re cute, so long as they stay out of our home!  Squirrels can cause a lot of damage to an attic or the exterior of the building. They will often chew through wiring, through wood or vinyl soffit, and through the lead boots of plumbing pipes on the roof.

Raccoon Removal

Raccoons often find themselves in search of places to live that are dry, warm, safe, and appropriate to raise young in. Unfortunately for home and business owners, attics make a perfect location for a raccoon to start a family.

Bird Removal and Solutions

Many species of bird can decide to take up shelter in your attic. These species include starlings, sparrows, pigeons, vultures, swallows, seagulls, geese, ducks, hawks, and more. Regardless of species, roosting birds can quickly become a major issue if they find their way into your attic.

Mouse Attic Removal

The most common species of mouse to take residence in your attic is the house mouse. House mice are small, growing only 5-8 inches in length (tail included). Typically their fur is grey or brown in color. They reproduce quickly and in great numbers, so an infestation in the beginning stages can quickly get out of hand.

Bat Removal and Solutions

Mexican Free-Tailed Bats are the most common species of bat involved in attic infestations in Central Florida. Female bats typically produce only one offspring per year. Thus, their reproductive rate is not the key problem in bat infestations. Bats roost together in great, concentrated numbers.
